Ciao a tutti! I am trying to get back to normal but honestly it is not easy after such experience. I miss you all and I share all the thanks that other cyclists have already passed. Both the backup team and the cyclists were really fantastic! This is my first LC experience and I am really amazed. I was not expecting so many ‘coccole’ at the checkpoints and such nice meals in the evening! A special thanks to the cyclists who were forced to drop off and helped so much in the checkpoints: you really impressed me… Thanks Space and Mark B.(the sunglasses were crucial!)
Finally the challenge is over. Thanks to everyone involved, the cyclists, my team mates and all the back up team who did a superb job. A special thanks goes to Maria the physio who worked around the clock to keep us all going. Without her I wouldnt have made it. A special thanks to Wenzu who encouraged me all the way when I was nearly quitting. Thanks mate Well done to everybody, cu on the 12th september so we all can celebrate together
Thanks to all the backup team that kept us going all the way to Casablanca. Without you we wouldn’t have made it for sure.
A special thanks also goes to those cyclist that unfortunately had to retire from the challange and helped as backup team. They were of a great help to us cyclist and understood more of what were facing on the road.
But last and not least a special thanks goes to my 4 team mates (Ganni, Jerry, Marcell and Reuben) which were like brothers on and off the road. From this event I learnt that if you work as a team everything seems alot more easy, even cyling for 10 whole hours with an injured ankle.
Thanks to everyone that was involved. See you on the boat:)
I would like to thank you for all the support that you gave us. I passed over to the team all the comments that you left on guest book.
I would like to congratulate the cyclists for achieving this big challenge…
Especially to you Wenzu you amaze everyone with your strenght physically & psychologically. :):)
But we cnt forget the back up team - that made miracles to make this challenge a success, from the kitchen staff, provisions, drivers, logistics team, physiotherapist and PR.

Well done to all the cyclists and all the backup team. I can’t even imagine how equally physically and mentally tiring it must be for each and every single one of you.
To all the climbers and cyclists (Caroline, Mark, Claudine, Ganni, MC, Gerry) I say - ‘When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on’
To those who for some reason or another retired, I can say one thing - Experience is not what happens to you; it is what you do with what happens to you. WELL DONE.

can’t get Lifecycle outta my head. Every night since we arrived I’ve been dreaming about being on the bike, cycling another stage!
August 30th, 2008 at 7:14 pm
Ciao a tutti! I am trying to get back to normal but honestly it is not easy after such experience. I miss you all and I share all the thanks that other cyclists have already passed. Both the backup team and the cyclists were really fantastic! This is my first LC experience and I am really amazed. I was not expecting so many ‘coccole’ at the checkpoints and such nice meals in the evening! A special thanks to the cyclists who were forced to drop off and helped so much in the checkpoints: you really impressed me… Thanks Space and Mark B.(the sunglasses were crucial!)
August 29th, 2008 at 9:42 am
Finally the challenge is over. Thanks to everyone involved, the cyclists, my team mates and all the back up team who did a superb job. A special thanks goes to Maria the physio who worked around the clock to keep us all going. Without her I wouldnt have made it. A special thanks to Wenzu who encouraged me all the way when I was nearly quitting. Thanks mate
Well done to everybody, cu on the 12th september so we all can celebrate together
August 28th, 2008 at 11:51 pm

WELL DONE.
August 21st, 2008 at 9:01 pm
