Today (World Kidney Day) saw the launch of the Betfair Lifecycle Challenge 2010.
We are now in our twelfth year of helping and assisting the renal patients of Malta. In 2010 we are hoping to raise enough money to help outpatients at the renal unit by providing permanent transport to and from the hospital as well as giving money to the Kidney Organisation to help fund cures.

This year’s route will see riders travelling over 2,000 km from Venice to Old Trafford during the last two weeks of August, taking on some of the toughest bike routes in Europe. The two week adventure for extreme cyclists will end at the home of Manchester United, Old Trafford. This association has been made possible due to the official sponsor of Lifecycle, Betfair, who are an official sponsor of both Manchester United and Barcelona. It is hoped that several of the first team squad and staff of Manchester United will take part in the last few km of the race to see the riders cross the finish line.
