After being escorted the last 10km by members of Stockport Fire Brigade (on their bikes), this afternoon the 2010 Betfair LifeCycle Challenge team rode proudly up to the Old Trafford stadium and were met by Sir Alex Ferguson, manager of Manchester United Football Club.

The 2010 Betfair LifeCycle Challenge is now on the last day, riding from Loughborough through the Peak District to the finishing point at the Old Trafford football ground in Manchester, after getting up at 4am, in order to try and arrive in time to be met by Sir Alex Ferguson at the finish.
