Though the primary form of physical training for the LifeCycle Challenge is of course cycling – and lots of it – it is also important not to neglect other aspects of physical fitness.
Some of this year’s LifeCyclists also attend regular fitness sessions at Alan Curry’s
Chic Physique Easyline studio, where Technogym resistance machines allow them to strengthen different muscle groups and ensure that muscles are pushed through their full range of movement, something that is not possible when cycling.
Not that these fitness sessions replace any of the hours that the cyclists put in on their bikes. These team members are currently cycling up to 6 hours a day, holding down full-time jobs,
and working out at the Easyline studio.
But then, the Challenge is now less than four weeks away…
