In just 2 days time, the 2010 Betfair LifeCycle Challenge team will be flying to Rome and then taking a coach to Venice, on the way to the start of this year’s challenge. The two 7.5 tonne trucks containing the bikes, equipment and supplies are already on their way, having left Malta by sea earlier this week. On Saturday morning, a press conference and photocall has been arranged at Malta Airport, and if you are able to drop in and cheer them on their way, we would love to see you there.

DON’T THINK OF THE FULL DISTANCE JUST GO CHECK POINT TO CHECK POINT AND MY BIGGEST PIECE OF ADVICE: EAT & DRINK! TAKE ON BOARD WHATEVER THE BACK UP TEAM OFFER YOU EVEN WHEN YOU REALLY DON’T WANT YET ANOTHER BANANA/FLAPJACK/ENERGY BAR JUST GULP IT DOWN AND GET BACK ON THE BIKE. SEE YOU IN SUNNY ENGLAND SOON!!!!
