TONIGHT, on World Kidney Day, sees the launch of the Betfair Lifecycle Challenge 2011 – a 2,000km bike ride from Prague to Sarajevo.
The charity, which is now in its thirteenth year, will see riders taking to two wheels in a bid to raise funds and support for patients suffering from renal failure both in Malta and internationally. The launch will be held at the prestigious Malta Hilton hotel at 6:30 pm and will be attended by Mr. Clyde Puli, Parliamentary Secretary of Youth and Sport, as well as local music celebrities.

This year it is hoping to raise enough to help outpatients at the renal unit by setting up a permanent Patients Support Team consisting of a group of professionals to ensure the care of patients outside of the Renal Unit as well as within the Renal Unit itself.
To find out more about the route and register your interest in this year’s event please attend tonight!
